Microtiger, the new woven microfibre glass cleaning cloth, is a new addition to the IPC Pulex range of top quality professional cleaning products.

In genuine microfibre fabrics, 1 gram of weight corresponds to a total fibre length of 9000 metres.

In most cases this requires microfibres with a diameter of less than 0.012 mm.

Microtiger, the new woven microfibre cloth from IPC Pulex, has a distinctive red and white colour and is extremely effective at removing dirt from glass surfaces with minimum effort. It also minimises the use of chemical cleaning agents, and can even eliminate their use completely. This is because microfibres are one hundred times finer than human hair and can penetrate into microscopic gaps in apparently flat and smooth glass surfaces to detach dirt effortlessly.

The most important and innovative characteristic of the Microtiger cleaning cloth lies in the unique composition of the yarn, which combines red coloured, soft abrasive sections with white, absorbent and degreasing sections. This double action is backed up by a scrubber pad on the side of the cloth, to help remove stubborn, deep dirt. IPC Pulex Microtiger cleaning cloths come in the following sizes: 25 – 35 – 45 – 55 cm.

Technical characteristics

The characteristic red and white fabric is formed from a two-component polyester yarn, in which a coarse (red) filament provides abrasive cleaning action and a fine (white) filament exercises a degreasing and absorbent action. This clever combination, plus a special high temperature finishing process (180° C), creates a cloth with exceptional cleaning power, and a highly effective combined action on all types of dirt and residue.

The Microtiger glass cleaning cloth from IPC Pulex stands out for the high quality and exceptional strength of its acrylic microfibre fabric. Continuous testing with a special wear testing robot has demonstrated that both the normal version and special scrubber version of the cloth maintain their original characteristics even after extensive “heavy duty” use. Thanks to a dense weave and long, special yarn microfibres, Microtiger does leave loose fibres on cleaned surfaces.

The Microtiger cloth features specially reinforced anti-wear edges. It is fixed to the holder by practical Velcro fastenings for perfect grip and quick and easy replacement. The holder comes in three versions: all plastic with water retention holes, aluminium and plastic, and steel and plastic. There is also a special jointed version that fits the jointed washer and telescopic pole for easy access to awkward windows.
